Prof. Mutasem El-Fadel, Director of the Water Resources Center at the American University of Beirut, visited the Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI) at An Najah where he met with Prof. Marwan Haddad, Director of the (WESI). In the meeting, a number of issues related to studying the impacts of climate change on Palestine and the prospects of cooperation between the two centers have been discussed.

Prof. El-Fadel also met with Prof. Maher Abu Eid, Vice President for Academic Affairs and delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Engineering about the integrated management of water resources and climate change. Different research and academic issues were also discussed after the lecture.
