In cooperation with The Deutsche Welle (DW), Germany's international broadcaster, the Faculty of Media and its Media Center successfully concluded a training course that was centered on HD TV production and broadcasting, in addition to HD video archiving. The 50-hour course was administered by Hans-Ludwig Marciniak from the DW.

Participants in the course included 8 employees working at the University and the Media Center in the field of video making, information technology and studio engineering. The course comes as part of a series of several courses held according to an agreement with the DW to prepare and train the University’s staff as part of An-Najah TV project that the University plans to launch.

Mr. Ayman Al-Nimer, Director of the Media Center, declared that the course represents a great step toward the development of the Center’s work and explained that the anticipated An-Najah TV will utilize one of the world’s leading technologies and will adopt the HD production, broadcasting and archiving system.
