A new cooperation agreement between An-Najah and Fundación Tres Culturas in Spain
An-Najah and Fundación Tres Culturas in Spain (Foundation of Three Cultures) signed a renewable one-year scientific and cultural cooperation agreement between the two institutions. The partnership between the two institutions will see them cooperating in a wide range of areas covering research and higher education. The agreement stipulates for organization of courses, seminars and conferences and the development of joint training and cultural activities.
Collaboration between the two institutions may include: the application of new educational technologies in training process, internships programs to improve the skills of An-Najah's graduate and postgraduate students, and collaboration in the fields of publications. This Foundation was created in 1999 with a spirit reflecting the 1995 Euro-Mediterranean Conference celebrated in Barcelona, Spain which proposed a new horizon to the whole Mediterranean area: the establishment of a peace area, full of stability and progress in both shores of a sea which is cradle of civilization. Their Majesties Juan Carlos I, king of Spain and Mohamed VI, king of Morocco are the patronages of the Foundation.
