In cooperation with the Public Relations Department at An-Najah and the American General Consulate in Jerusalem, a lecture was organized on “Explore America Online Competition” on Wednesday 29 July 2009.  The event was organized at the Conferences Room of the Library in the Old Campus.
The lecture was given by Mr. Muad Musleh, Responsible of Communication in the Consulate, and attended by a number of the University’s students.  The lecturer handled many issues such as the best techniques to be followed in the online search for an easy access to required information.
Other subjects were also handled such as accurate usage of search engines, published information quality assessment, effective search methods through introducing students to social media through face book and Twitter.  Mrs. Murien Marrom of the Consulate gave the attendants an idea on the Consulate's educational activities in Palestine, including scholarships and several programs offered.
