A delegation from the Belgium-Palestine Association visits the University
Eleven delegates from the Belgium-Palestine Association visited the University today. The delegation met with Dr. Nabil Alawi, the Director of the Public Relations Department, who gave a brief presentation about the University. D r. Alawi said that An-Najah is the largest Palestinian University in the West Bank in terms of the number and variety of academic programs it offers. “We are proud of the quality of education that we offer to our students,” he added.
Dr. Alawi emphasized that An-Najah is interested in recruiting international teachers to work at the University, as well as in establishing academic relationships with universities around the world in order to provide the opportunity for students to study abroad. Dr. Alawi also spoke about the role of An-Najah Career Unit in helping the University's graduates to find job opportunities both in Palestine and in other Arab countries.
After the meeting, the delegation visited An-Najah FM. At the end of the visit the delegates were taken on a tour of the Old Campus of the University. The Belgium-Palestine Association is a non-profit organization established in 1976 under the laws of Belgium. It was established with the aim of defending and promoting the undeniable rights of the Palestinian people as recognized by the United Nations.
