On March 25^th 2010, a delegation that included fifty men and women from Sakhnin village in the Lower Galilee visited the University. The delegation visited the New Campus and the different facilities there where Mr. Ala Abu Dheer, the Acting Director of the Public Relations Department at the University, presented a summary of the University, its students, the faculties and the level of study there.

Mr. Muhammad Sa'ed As'ad, the delegation's tour guide, said that this the second visit of a delegation from Sakhnin to Nablus where they visited the historical sites in the city. He added that it is important to visit the University and to be familiar with its programs, study and achievements. Mr. As'ad expressed the delegation's happiness for what the University has achieved and the outstanding degree of development it was able to reach both academically and socially.

The delegation also mentioned that the Palestinian people should be proud of this university which is the source of knowledge and culture for the Palestinians and a hub for cultural and social interaction. It is a key institution in Palestine which supports the individual with academic and scientific knowledge that contribute to the continuous building of the society.

"It is the high level of education, programs and advanced facilities that the University has attained that we are proud of". Said Mr. Awad Tarbieh, a member of the delegation.
