A Delegation from Lille Municipality Visits the Information Technology Incubator at An-Najah
A delegation from Lille Municipality in France that included Mrs. Christine Mason, Coordinator of International Relations in the city of Lille, Mrs. Nadya Salah, from the Department of International Relations in Lille, as well as Mr. Ayman Shak’ah, Director of the Community Resources Development Center in Nablus, visited the Information Technology Incubator at An-Najah.
The delegation was received by Engineer Khaled Barham, Director of the IT Incubator, who delivered a detailed presentation about the Incubator, its establishment, goals and achievements. He also thanked the guests for their interest to visit the Incubator and take a look at its various projects.
He said that the visit offers new opportunities for the University’s students to present their projects to potential investors who can take these projects and ideas to new levels where they can be transformed into real-life programs and companies.
The visit aimed to select four pioneering projects made by An-Najah students to be sent to Lille where they will be part of a training and marketing week in cooperation with the European Incubator “EuroTechnologies” between January 30th and February 3rd 2012.
After the meeting, the delegation members visited the different parts of the Incubator and the Korean-Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence and were granted souvenirs in appreciation of their honorable visit to An-Najah.
