Monday April 19^th 2010, a delegation from the city of Lille in France visited the University, headed by Lille's Deputy Mayor, Mr. François Girardin. The visit aimed to reinforce cooperation and cultural exchange between Nablus and Lille.

Dr. Hasan N'erat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Khaleefeh Jadallah, Public Relations Coordinator at the Department of Musicology at the Faculty, and Dr. Muhammad Salameh received the guests. Dr. N'erat introduced the delegation to the different departments and academic programs that the Faculty includes. Also, a discussion of cooperation prospects, musical activities and programs was raised between the Palestinian students and the guests.

Dr. N'erat further spoke about the possibility of developing cultural exchange and active cooperation between Palestine and France in art-related fields, particularly visual arts. During the visit, the guests expressed their admiration of the achievements and level of development the Faculty has reached in the different fields of art.
