On Wednesday, April 1^st 2015, Dr. Mohammad Al-Amleh, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Office of the International Development and External Affairs, and Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Director of the Public Relations Department from An-Najah received Ms. Taunya Atwood the Senior Program Officer and Randa Bani Odeh, the Youth Program Manager from IREX organization.

The meeting was to discuss a new program for professional development titled “Next Generation Leaders” which is a collaborative initiative offered by IREX and Arizona State University. IREX provides thought leadership and innovative programs to promote positive lasting change globally. This program equips participants with knowledge and skills to enhance learning opportunities for students in Palestine. Upon returning home the participants will be a part of a network of leaders creating change in the education system in the West Bank and Gaza. They will have continued access to professional learning communities and to online materials and activities.
