An-Najah Joins Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities
An-Najah National University is thrilled to announce its official membership in the Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities (SRIAATU), a consortium comprised of 28 international universities along the historic Silk Road. SRIAATU was initiated by the University partner, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in China, and has attracted voluntary participation from architecture and technology universities, research institutes, and enterprises across countries situated along the Silk Road. It is a non-governmental, non-profit, open and international platform that facilitates industry-university-research collaboration.
SRIAATU is guided by the principles of the Silk Road spirit, which emphasize "peaceful cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning, and mutual benefit." In alignment with these principles, the alliance follows the philosophy of "development first, universal inclusiveness, and innovation-driven growth." Recognizing the diverse national conditions of the countries along the Silk Road and focusing on the practical aspects of urbanization in cities, SRIAATU aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge resources, promote the flow of knowledge, drive theoretical innovation, and collectively address development challenges. This collective effort aims to enhance architectural technology education in countries along the Silk Road, serving the broader urbanization process and uniting all stakeholders to create a better home for all.
