Emergency Evacuation Drill at An-Najah’s Palestinian Child Institute
In an effort to demonstrate emergency safety awareness and preparedness, the Public Safety Committee at An-Najah National University in cooperation with the Palestinian Civil Defense in Nablus Governorate, conducted an emergency evacuation drill for the Palestinian Child Institute staff at An-Najah National University on Thursday 6 October, 2022. The duration of the evacuation drill was approximately one minute and forty seconds, and it was performed in the University’s Palestinian Child Institute Building to test and validate emergency procedures at the Institute.
The aim of the activity was to assist the Palestinian Child Institute’s personnel to know their roles and responsibilities in an emergency situation in accordance with the workplace plans and procedures, and to test the workforce response to an emergency.
