On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, The Palestinian Anti-Corruption ‎Commission (PACC) arranged a visit with An-Najah National University as part of their strategic partnership to foster collaboration among the two institutions in the fight against Corruption.


The delegation was received by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zeid, President of the University, Dr. Naeem Salameh, Dean of the University's Faculty of Law, and a number of academic staff members from the Faculty of Law with overlapping areas of expertise and interest including Dr. Moayad Hattab, and Dr. Nour Adas.

Prof. Zaid welcomed the visitors, referring to the Palestinian Anti-Corruption ‎Commission’s vital role in fighting against corruption and addressing corruption-related issues in Palestine. He also emphasized on the role of the University in supporting the national strategy on anti-corruption through developing a joint plan to implement programs and activities that support the national strategy on anti-corruption, developing academic programs and courses on transparency, integrity and anti-corruption. He also talked about how the University can take actions to align itself with the national sustainability and anticorruption agenda in Palestine.

After the meeting, Mr. Raed Radwan, Head of PACC met with a number of university law students and gave them an overview of corruption and anti-corruption in Palestine.
