A Delegation from E+ Office Visits An-Najah University
On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, An-Najah President received a delegation from Erasmus+ office represented by Dr. Nidal Jayyousi, representative of the Palestine European Commission for Higher Education in the presence of Dr. Abdul-Salam Al-Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Imad Brik, EU-Projects' Coordinator at An-Najah, Dr. Loay Abu Alsaud from the Department of Tourism and Archeology, Dr. Amer Al-Qubbaj from the History Department, and Mr. Khaled Al-Husseini, Director of the Public Relations Department at the University.
The visit focused on discussing ideas for new projects and possible means of mutual cooperation and ways to build upon. Prof. Zaid welcomed the guests and stressed the importance of the partnership with E+ programs. He also expressed his interest in establishing and developing new projects in cooperation with Erasmus+ due to the importance of these projects in terms of developing the Palestinian higher education practices.
In turn, Dr. Jayousi gave an overview of the main objectives of Erasmus + and its various programs. He also briefed the attendees about Erasmus + projects' achievements and role in benefiting the university at various levels.
