Held to coincide with the International Women's Day celebrated on the 8^th of March every year, the seminar themes tackled women's rights, women's advocacy groups and the place of women in the society. 

The seminar speakers discussed women in Islam, the role of women in politics and the challenges that encounter women with regards to violence, discrimination in the workplace and persecution.
