Inclusive Sporting Event for Children with Disabilities at An-Najah University
An-Najah University's Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with the Community Based Rehabilitation Program, Aswat Association and Sport Land GYM, organized an inclusive sporting event for children with disabilities.
The adapted sporting event aimed to offer the children with disabilities opportunities to practice inclusive sports adapted to their needs. It included different physical activities and sports. The event entails positive impacts for participants with disabilities regarding their physical and social well-being.
The event was supervised by the Physical Education Department at the University in the presence of Mr. Samer Aqrouq, Director of Students with Disabilities Care Office at An-Najah University. This office was established to make the lives of students with disabilities more active and integrated with the society of the University.
