The meeting was attended by Mr. Sabih Al-Masri, Chairman of Board of Trustees, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the Board, Prof. Maher Natsheh, An-Najah University's President, Mr. Munib al- Masri , Head ‎of Munib R. Masri Development Foundation, Dr. Sharon Mosher, Dean of Jackson School of ‎Geosciences and Major General. Ibrahim Ramadan, Governor of Nablus as well as a number of prominent local figures.

The MOU seeks to upgrade awareness about education and scientific research through workshops organized by the two parties. It also focuses on coordinating the cooperation among Palestinian universities in a way that serves the educational process according to principles of equality and mutual benefit.

Mr. Munib Al- Masri emphasized on the importance of the collaboration among Palestinian universities which supports education, noting that this support is a national duty.

Mr. Sabeeh Al-Masri talked about his academic journey until his graduation from Texas University. He also stressed the importance of economic investment in Palestine.

Dr. Sharon demonstrated her support for higher education and the Palestinian universities that now are competing on the international level.

The agreement was part of An-Najah's vision to create partnership with local and international educational institutions, with the aim of promoting academic and research cooperation and expertise exchange, developing educational programs and competing internationally.
