First-Aid, Firefighting and Evacuation Procedures Training
An-Najah University's Public Safety Committee, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Nablus held a workshop on first-aid, firefighting and evacuation procedures training. The training assisted members of administrative and teaching bodies of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. The workshop aimed to develop the staff's public safety skills and prepare them for emergency cases.
The training will last for five days and will cover topics about civil defense types of fires and fire safety, first-aid, emergency management and disaster preparedness. It will also provide practical training and tours of a number of civil defense centers in Nablus.
The workshop started with a speech by Dr. Nidal Zatar, Rapporteur of the Public Safety Committee at the University and was also attended by members of the Committee and participating staff.
