The Faculty of Engineering and IT Participates in the Second International Conference on Civil Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering and IT participated in the activities of the Second International Conference on Civil Engineering – Palestine (2nd ICCE-P).
2nd ICCE-P is organized by the Engineers Association – Jerusalem Center, Palestine (EA-JCP). The conference was part of EA-JCP role in the advancement and development of the engineering works in the country and providing local engineers with the opportunity to exchange knowledge with their peers from other countries.
The conference aimed at developing civil engineering practice, upgrading the quality of work, enhancing research and creativity, and attracting new investments and technologies in the field of civil engineering.
The conference included presentation of eight papers by keynote speakers from Palestine, the US, France, Germany, Ireland and Australia. It also included lecturers of civil engineering from 13 countries, 58 submitted papers and 7 posters and 10 special graduation projects from Palestinian universities. The two-day conference was attended by more than 1500 engineers.
An-Najah University’s participation was outstanding as three of the University staff were keynote speakers and a large number were part of the conference committees.
As part of the conference activities, Civil Engineering Exhibition was held which included graduation projects, and engineering companies to show their products and zones for sponsors.
