A Delegation from Stavanger University Visits An-Najah University
On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, a delegation from Stavanger University headed by Brita Strand Rangnes, Vice Dean of Education at Stavanger University, met with Professor Mohammad Al-Subu, Vice President for Academic Affairs, to discuss possible means of collaboration in different fields.
The delegation was accompanied with Engineer Naseer Arafat, Director of Nablus Committee Association.
The visit aimed at learning about project development in mother-child-health (school health) in the region, creating collaboration within e-learning and simulation-based teaching (digital cooperation tools), networking and exchanging project ideas with regards to community health and discussing safety, societal risk and planning as well as learning environment studies and behavioral sciences and research.
Al-Subu welcomed the delegation and briefed them on An-Najah's history, academic programs and faculties.
The delegation then welcomed joint expertise and student exchange programs and stated that they're planning to develop their projects inside the University.
At the end of their visit, the delegation was given a tour of the Old and the New Campuses to learn about its faculties and infrastructure. Finally, they met with Dr. Aidah Al-Kaissi, Dean of Nursing and Midwifery College, to learn about the health care services provided by An-Najah to the Palestinian society
