Organizing IEEEXtreme 13 Competition
An-Najah IEEE-student branch has recently organized IEEEXtreme 13 Competition which included 11 teams from An-Najah's computer engineering and IT students. The competition was held simultaneously with holding it by other Palestinian and international universities.
Supported by ASAL Technologies, the competition lasted for 24 hours in which the students had to solve several coding challenges. They continued coding to achieve the 3rd and 4th places across Palestine.
57 teams participated from Palestine and 4103 ones participated around the world.
Dr. Mona Demaidi, IEEE Supervisor expressed her pride with the students for investing their time in training and participating in international competitions. She also thanked Prof. Maher Natsheh, the University President who followed up with the teams to make sure the competition goes as planned as well as ASAL Technologies who helped train the students.
