An-Najah Receives Professor Ronald Paul from Julich Research Centre in Germany
On Thursday, August 30, 2018, An-Najah National University received Professor Ronald Paul from Julich Research Centre (Forschungszentrum Jülich) in Germany. The visit was organized by Prof. Shehdeh Jodeh, staff member at An-Najah Chemistry Department.
Prof. Paul met with An-Najah Acting President, Prof. Maher Natsheh who stressed the importance of the mutual cooperation An-Najah has with Julich Centre as it is a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres and one of the largest interdisciplinary research centres in Europe.
Prof. Paul gave a lecture for science students on physical properties of soil.
The lecture also focused on topics like terrestrial systems modeling, modeling and watershed management and biochemistry and nanoparticles: colloids and analytical techniques.
Dr. Ayman Haj Daoud, Representative of the Palestinian-German Science Bridge (PGSB) concluded the lecture introducing graduate studies students to the research application process at Julich Research Centre.
At the end of the lecture, Dr. Haj Daoud answered the students' questions on the application process.
