Dr. Al-Amleh briefed Dr. Ganson on An-Najah's history, academic development and the political and financial challenges it faces. Both parties discussed several important issues and set common perceptions regarding democracy and sociology.

After the meeting, Dr. Ganson gave a lecture to the American studies students on cultural diversity and forms of democracy.

She was also given a tour of the Old and the New Campus to learn about An-Najah various faculties and facilities.
