Zajel Organizes a Field Trip to Faqqu'a Village and Jezreel Valley

The International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah has recently organized a field trip to Faqqu'a Village and Jezreel Valley for the university students. The trip aimed at introducing the students to the wild and agricultural life there and learn about the history of the region during the 1948 Palestinian exodus (Nakba) and the 1967 war.
During the trip, Dr. Walid Al-Basha of An-Najah's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences talked about bird migration across Palestine and the impact of this migration on biodiversity.
The students were also introduced to Faqqu'a history, geographical features, population and wild life.
