An-Najah Holds the 2nd Consultative Meeting of the Entrepreneurship Project
On Monday, August 21st, 2017, An-Najah National University held the 2nd Consultative Meeting of the Entrepreneurship Project at the Scientific Centre’s conference room in the New Campus. An-Najah is a partner in this project, along with a number of other Palestinian universities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the British home universities; namely, Salford University, Coventry University and South Wales University as well as representatives from the British Council.
The meeting aimed at discussing the project’s implementation methods. The project organizers hoped to develop the universities’ strategies in terms of entrepreneurship and involve the youth more in entrepreneurship activities. They also recommended raising students’ awareness on entrepreneurship as an approach of labour and innovation.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President of Academic Affairs; Dr. Mohammad Najjar, Director of the Projects Management Unit; Dr. Nidal Dweikat, President’s Assistant of Planning, Development and Quality Affairs; Dr. Rani Shahwan, Director of the Continuing Education Unit; Dr. Abdulkareem Ayoub and Dr. Alia Assali, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teacher Training at An-Najah.
