Prof. Rinaldi met with a number of the English Department staff members including Dr. Ekrema Shehab, Head of the Department and Dr. Nabil Alawi, Associate Professor.

Prof. Rinaldi gave a lecture discussing Enrique Gómez Carrillo's article "The Conqueror of the Holy Land" which is written about General Allenby and collected in the form of multiple war reports in a chronicle titled: "Hombres y superhombres".

Prof. Rinaldi discussed the biography and works of Carrillo, compared his works with the works of some native Uruguayan author and finally talked about his article.

At the end, Prof. Rinaldi expressed his gratitude towards the hospitality he received at An-Najah. He ended his visit with a tour of the University's Old and New Campuses and the Old City of Nablus.

Daniel Rinaldi is a professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences at the University of the Republic of Uruguay where he teaches Greek Literature. He holds a doctoral degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in comparative literature.

Professor Rinaldi has published many articles about literature and linguistics. He also translated and published a selection of Ibycus (an Ancient Greek lyric poet).
