An-Najah Hosts a Delegation from Solingen Hospital in Germany
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah received at his office Ms Elizabeth Olszewski and Ms Lizzie Singer, eye experts from Solingen Hospital in Germany.
The visit aimed at evaluating complicated squint cases which will be diagnosed by the delegation over a week.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Natsheh briefed the delegation on An-Najah’s faculties, programmes, academic achievements and the challenges that encounter higher education in Palestine.
Prof. Natsheh talked about the collaboration that links the university with international institutions and commended the supporting German institutions efforts in improving An-Najah’s staff skills and competencies. He also stressed the importance of the mutual academic and research cooperation with Germany.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Emad Dweikat, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; Dr. Liana Labadi, Head of the Optometry Department; Dr. Yousef Shanti, Lecturer at the Optometry Department and Mr. Alaa Abu Dheir from the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
