Zajel Organizes a Hiking Trip to Battir Village

The International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah organized a hiking trip for 100 of An-Najah students to Battir and Husan villages in Bethlehem.
Through the trip, the tourist guide introduced the students to the areas’ history and the political circumstances they went through during 1948 as well as the role of ecotourism in social development.
The students were also introduced to Battir’s homes, fountains and Roman theaters which reflect a rich history full of giving and affiliation.
