An-Najah Organizes the “How to Start Up Your Own Business” Lecture
On Thursday March 20th, 2017, the Department of Chemical Engineering at An-Najah in cooperation with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) welcomed Mr. Amjad Qasas, the CEO of the Pal Bro for Consultation and Investment Services and the local representative for Netherlands Senior Experts (PUM) to give a lecture titled: “How to Start Up Your Own Business”.
The visit aimed at introducing the university students to how to start up their own business once they get graduated.
Mr. Qasas talked about his personal experience in building his start up and the challenges that encountered him. He also introduced the students to a number of successful inverstments and gave them pieces of advice on how to start up their own business.
At the end of the lecture, the speaker thanked the course instructor Eng. Maryam Hmoudah and the head of the department for this opportunity, to share his experience with An-Najah students.

The lecture was attended by Dr. Husni Odeh, Head of Chemical Engineering Department and both the faculty in the department and the students from the course Introduction to Professional Engineering Concepts in the department.
