Dr. Al-Mehrezi was accompanied with members of the Tunisian-Palestinian Medical Society and Dr. Mohammad El-Ahmed, An-Najah candidate at El Manar University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Natsheh welcomed the guests and briefed them on An-Najah history. He commended the academic cooperation between El Manar and An-Najah in terms of academic exchanged and talked about the challenges that encounter higher education in Palestine on different levels.

Dr. Al-Mehrezi stressed the importance of the deep national relationship between the Tunisian and the Palestinian people. He pointed out that his visit aims at promoting mutual academic, research and medical work between both countries.

The meeting also included showcasing a documentary film that addresses An-Najah’s history, development, academic programmes, students and international agreements.

After the meeting, An-Najah’s Public Relations Department gave the delegation a tour of the New Campus faculties.

The delegation also visited An-Najah National University Hospital where they met with Prof. Saleem Haj Yahya, Director General of the Hospital who introduced them to the hospital’s departments and units.
