An-Najah Hosts the American Photographer Alycia Kravitz
On Thursday, February 9th, 2017, the American Corner Nablus of the International Office in cooperation with the Public Relations and Communications Department at An-Najah hosted the American photographer and journalist Alycia Kravitz for a workshop at the New Campus’s library conference room.
The workshop shed light on Ms Kravitz’ life, education and career.
Dr. Abdulkareem Sarhan, Head of the Public Relations and Communications Department welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of enriching the educational process through such events. He also mentioned that the university always hosts different experts to enrich students’ knowledge and develop their skills.
The photographer advised interested students to follow their goals and discover new places in the beautiful landscape of Palestine through taking photos.
Ms. Kravitz also hosted an exhibition of pictures she took in different parts of the world. She also showcased photos taken from wedding parties in different countries and clarified the difference between photojournalism and wedding photography
