On Sunday, October 16th, 2016, the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah organized a photo gallery on the Moroccan history and culture at the Faculty of Humanities in the Old Campus.

The gallery included a group of photos that showcased Moroccan everyday life, crafts, agriculture, archaeology and heritage in different Moroccan cities.

The gallery aimed at introducing the university students to international and Arab countries and showing them models of investment in ancient historical cities that serves the national income and develops those cities to become tourist attractions.  This will contribute to offer an income that can be relied on to provide additional income sources through internal and external tourism.

The exhibition included photos of Chefchaouen city of which Andalusian immigrants contributed to build through creating architectural features like those they left in Granada.

The exhibition also included photos of cultural diversity in Morocco and its social components that contributed to promoting its image as a tourist attraction in addition to photos that show most popular food in Morocco.

Notes:

The photo gallery was inaugurated by Dr. Sabri Naser, Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department as well as a number of the university’s academic and administrative staff and students.
