An-Najah Participates in the IFHE MENA in Jordan
On Wednesday, August 4th, 2016, and under the patronage of Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, An-Najah National University participated in the International Forum of Higher Education in the Middle East and North Africa Region (IFHE MENA) in Jordan.
The forum was over three days from August 4th-6th, 2016 and was organized by the Oval Office for Studies and Research (OOSR) and attended by more than 80 local and international institutions of higher education.
The forum aimed at getting international universities together to introduce interested students from different parts of the world to the participating universities’ programmes.
The forum shed light on quality standards and international rankings of higher education institutions, difficulties encountering scientific research there and the right to education.
The forum also included a number of meetings to talk about different scholarship programmes and an exhibition where An-Najah representatives, Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department, introduced the participants to the university’s scientific centres, programmes, facilities and academic awards and rankings.
They also interviewed a number of Arab and international participating universities to develop academic links in terms of academia and research.

The forum was also attended by Mr. Wajih Owais, Jordanian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Sultan Abu Orabi, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities and a number of notable figures and international universities.
