An-Najah Delegation Participates in the Erasmus+ Training at Stavanger University
Dr. Abdel Karim Daraghmeh, Director of the Center of Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and Ms Muna Sha’th, Lecturer at the Psychology Department at An-Najah participated in the Erasmus+ training at Stavanger University in Norway.
The visit aimed at introducing An-Najah delegation to using drama in the classroom as a method of teaching (dramatization teaching method), a collection of teaching tools that include traditional drama techniques, such as improvisation, storytelling, role playing and games to engage students through interactive activities.
Both Dr. Daraghmeh and Ms Sha’th participated in a series of workshops on adopting drama as a teaching method at all elementary, secondary and higher educational levels.
The training also included a number of performances for playwright Brecht by Stavanger students which shed light on social justice and human conflict issues.
In the same context, Dr. Daraghmeh and Ms Sha’th met with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences at Stavanger to discuss future cooperation with An-Najah.
