An-Najah Participates in the 7th Jordanian International Conference of Chemistry
On Tuesday, April 19th, 2016, Professor Shehdeh Joudeh, Prof. Ismael Warrad, Mr. Anas Al-Ali and Ms Bayan Khalaf from the Chemistry Department at An-Najah participated in the 7th Jordanian International Conference of Chemistry at the Yarmouk University.
The conference was over three days from April 19th-21st, 2016 and was attended by 63 Professors and researchers from Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, India, Turkey, Brazil, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Palestine, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya and Jordan.
The conference aimed at discussing industrial applications of chemical issues to achieve sustainable development and developing methods in teaching and learning chemistry in the Arab world.
The conference included discussing research papers on desalination and water purification, producing anticancer compounds and other chemical issues.
At the end of the conference, both Yarmouk and An-Najah agreed upon developing joint research cooperation.

An-Najah delegation was chosen to be included in the conference’s scientific committee for the year 2017.
