On Saturday, April 9th, 2016, the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah concluded a series of field trips to industrial factories in Ramallah and Nablus.

The participating students visited more than 20 factories, met with their directors and discussed issues on the challenges that encounter industrial enterprises and raw materials importing and the effect of taxation on competition, energy prices and the raise in living standards.

The programme aimed at introducing the participating students to the factories’ working conditions and the quality of local products. It also aimed at encouraging researchers to spot light on the topics discussed during the field trips.

Student Baha’ Joudeh, Zajel Volunteer and Programme Coordinator talked about several industrial areas in Palestine as good destinations for Palestinian entrepreneurs.

Notes:

The three days programme included visiting Al-Arz Ice Cream Factory, Abdeen Elite Home, NAPCO, Rawabi City and others.
