The event was organized by Emirati born students at the university and aimed at introducing the heritage, history and culture of the United Arab Emirates to An-Najah students.

The exhibition included a photo gallery that embodied the Emirati traditions and culture and the development the Emirates went through over different periods of time in the fields of sports, architecture and women’s movement.

Student Jihad Shanti, an Emirati born and coordinator of the event mentioned that the event strengthened relations and reinforced cultural exchange among the university students.

Notes:

• The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Moussa Abu Dayeh, Dean of Students’ Affairs and Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department.

• The ceremony included a musical performance carried out by the University Scout Band.
• The exhibition was part of the public relations training workshop organized by Zajel recently which aimed at promoting cultural exchange among students from different cultural backgrounds.
