Zajel Organizes a Hike to Tubas Rural Area

On Saturday, March 19th, 2016, the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah organized a hike to the rural area of Tubas for 100 students from the university.
The trip aimed at introducing An-Najah students to Tubas’s geography, farmlands and agricultural life. It also aimed at raising their awareness of the area’s eco-tourism.
Guide Nidal Sawalmeh from the Hike Palestine Institution explained about the area’s history, agricultural heritage and the environmental damages people encounter and ways to prevent them.
Notes:
- The hike included walking to different villages of Tubas province and was for 12 kilo meters.
