An-Najah Launches the (Your Initiative is Your Resistance) Martyr Ziad Abu Ein Award
On Monday, March 7th, 2016, and under the patronage of the Palestinian Prime Minister, Professor Rami Hamdallah, An-Najah National University launched the (Your Initiative is Your Resistance) Martyr Ziad Abu Ein Award, an award dedicated to staff members and students in Palestinian universities. The event took place at the Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence in the New Campus.
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah welcomed the attendees and thanked his Excellency and the awards’ initiators.
Mr. Ahmed Assaf, Director of Martyr Ziad Abu Ein’s Institution talked about the martyr’s life, initiations and social contributions.
In turn, General Manager Akram Rjoub, Governor of Nablus Provence transferred Present Mahmoud Abbas greetings and thanked the award’s initiators.
At the end of the ceremony, Professor Natsheh honored Ms Remal Tarefi, Martyr Abu Ein’s Wife.

The initiation is supervised by the Office of President’s Assistant for Social Affairs and An-Najah’s Business Innovation and Partnership Centre (NaBIC).
The event was also attended by Mr. Waleed Assaf, Director of the Apartheid and Settlements Resistance Commission and Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
