Joining the Faculty of Pharmacy did not prevent me from experiencing life. It did not prevent me from joining volunteer programs. I never wanted to be confined to one area, I believe that everything has complements pushing me to participate in more than one area of practical and social life.

I started my career during my first year, when I joined the Union of Medicine and Health Sciences. I had read an ad on the pages of the Medical Council about the first conference being held to announce the establishment of the Union. I participated in the first founding conference and then participated in most of the events which included medical days at the university. We used to visit villages, give advice and provide several tests for patients including blood, blood pressure and stress tests in cooperation with colleagues from other health professions.
During the second semester of my first year at university, I joined the Institute of Languages at the university and learned Turkish as a primary level. My story with the scouts was different. I joined An-Najah Scouts Group in my second year. I was on a trip home at home and I heard one of my friends talking about a camp in scouting. I asked her to talk about it more. They taught skills on camping, such as fireplace building skills, ropes, scout alarm, commitment, discipline, cooperation, successful team work and fair competition. She mentioned how proud they were when they raised the flag at the pole every morning. I liked the idea and my friend and I went to our first meeting with them where they taught us the directions on maps and how to use a compass. Scouts added a lot to my life from the regular meetings to the scouts and the days of camping, where we learned consistency, commitment, participation and strengthened the spirit of our brothers.

In the scouts group taught me how to get rid of Ophidiophobia, I used to panic by just hearing the word snake on television or through the pictures, but by joining the family of An-Najah Scouts Group. We visited the exhibition of snakes where we were briefed on the venom of the snake and its antidotes, and how to treat cases of poisoning from the bite of the snake and how to distinguish the poisonous snake from others.
Scouting taught us to love our homeland, to be faithful to it, to help people all the time, to work well, and not to wait for a reward. To take initiative and prove the truth even if you are alone. I do not exaggerate when I say that the scouts have changed my life so much so that its effect is clear and tangible. Scouting is the love of good for all people and the cultivation of good to bring home its fruits.
I participated with the Zajel program in several tours, including a trip to Nablus. We toured the city of Nablus for four days, during which we drove through the old town and saw historical and tourist sites. We saw the religious coexistence in this town where Muslims, Christians and Samaritans live. We learned how to make the original Nabulsi kanafah, visited the Nabulsi soap factory, went to Balata camp, and visited the highest peak in Mount Gerizim where we visited the Samaritans and they explained to us about their religion and rituals.
In my fourth year, I realized that what I learn about pharmacology regarding herbs and natural drugs is something we are supposed to share with other students. We need this science in everyday life. It is not exclusive to pharmacy students. I started to tell my friends about the idea and we started the Green Pharmacy Exhibition and invited students from different disciplines and professors from other colleges to visit the exhibition. This exhibition was good for teaching students about herbs and their effectiveness in treating some diseases. In addition, they learned how to use each plant and its purpose.
The impact of my belonging to the extracurricular voluntary programs at the university on my life is great. As I meet students from different disciplines and we become like brothers and a single family working together, because science does not fall under one specialty, not medicine, pharmacy, engineering or law, all science complements each other.. Together, we work for the better. Volunteering has helped me to deal with all people with different ideas and cooperation and to produce the best always.
