Career Opportunities

The graduates of this joint international program are expected to gain knowledge in nutrition and food science as well as food processes and technologies required for the processing and storage of prepared foods. Graduates of this program would find employment opportunities both within the industry and in the field of human-specific categories, where they are involved in product development, management and quality control and processes. They could also be employed in public and private institutions devoted to improve the nutritional characteristics of foods, to improve nutritional health, to carry out analysis of the bioavailability of foods and additives, to develop methods designed to assess the safety of foods and their suitability for human consumption, in consulting firms in the field of human nutrition and, finally, to participate in training, education, research, publicity and publications in the field of nutrition, food processing, quality, and safety. Due to the international nature of this program, and the expected language and communication skills and international experience to be acquired, the graduates of this program would be able to compete for international jobs in the fields specified previously.
