An-Najah University's Scientific Research Higher Committee, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Communication, successfully conducted an advanced course focused on refining the skills of scientific research writing. This initiative is a key component of the university's strategic plan, specifically under Project No. 5, dedicated to advancing scientific research and fostering a supportive environment for it.


Under the auspices of the Vice President for Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance, this endeavor was executed by the Deanship of Scientific Research and coordinated with the Faculty of Business and Communication. The virtual course, initiated on Sunday, February 11, 2024, via Zoom, concentrated on writing methodologies for scientific research and international publishing. It was organized by the Scientific Research Higher Committee in the Faculties of Humanities under the Deanship of Scientific Research, with active participation from esteemed professors across the departments of the Faculty of Business and Communication.

The primary goal of this training course was to elevate the capabilities of researchers in crafting impactful scientific research and effectively publishing it in globally recognized journals. Notable figures such as Vice President Nidal Dwaikat, Dean of Scientific Research Prof. Ismail Warad, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication Dr. Ra'fat Jallad, and Vice Chairman of the Higher Committee for Scientific Research Dr. Muayad Hattab, among others, attended the course.

Spanning a week, the intensive training course covered a range of topics, including principles and ethics of scientific research, research strategies and tools, documentation of references using computerized programs, contemporary international publishing standards, and both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Practical exercises were conducted to apply the acquired concepts, and advanced research in various fields was studied and discussed. Distinguished members of the committee, experts in diverse research fields, and recipients of prestigious research awards, including Prof. Abdulnaser I. Nour, Prof. Nidal Jeradat, Dr. Faten Amer, Dr. Sa’ed H. Zyoud, Dr. Fayez Mahamid, Dr. Zuhair Khalif, and other specialists actively participated.

On the final day, research groups were formed with the objective of bolstering scientific research at An-Najah University and promoting publications in reputable international journals. This course exemplifies the university's commitment to fortifying its standing in scientific research, particularly within the humanities faculties.
