An-Najah National University proudly participated in the Annual Student Conference organized by the Association of Deanships of Student Affairs 2024 at Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates. The conference, held under the theme "SUSTAINING THE QUALITY OF UNIVERSITY LIFE IN LIGHT OF COP28," showcased An-Najah University's commitment to academic excellence and student engagement.


Represented by Mohammed Daqqa, Dean of Students' Affairs, An-Najah University took an active role in the conference. In an engaging presentation, student researcher Raghad Atatari from An-Najah, delved into the topic of "Fostering a Stimulating Educational Environment: Impacts on Student Well-being, Belonging, and Cultivating Dialogue." Atatari's research emphasized the crucial role of an appealing academic setting in enhancing student welfare, fostering a sense of belonging, and nurturing a culture of open dialogue.

Adding to the insightful discussions, An-Najah researcher Ruaa Jaradat explored the theme "Artificial Intelligence and its Transformative Impact on the Labor Market." Jaradat's research shed light on the evolving role of artificial intelligence, creating new opportunities and dynamics within the labor market.

The conference, hosted by Al Ain University, marked the first annual student conference at the level of the Association of Deanships of Student Affairs. It witnessed the participation of more than 54 research students from 8 Arab countries. The event covered various topics, including basic medical sciences, sustainable development, the role of university students in promoting sustainable goals, artificial intelligence's impact on the labor market, and digital media's role in supporting innovation and leadership among university students.

The conference aimed to encourage student participation in scientific research, develop their skills, provide opportunities for experience exchange among students from Arab universities, create an environment for collaborative student research, and explore the talents of young women across fields and academic levels.
