The university wins first place in "Ein" (Eye) innovation contest
A student team from the University’s Mechatronics Engineering Department won first place in the category "The Environment" in “Ein” innovation contest, within the second annual conference of the Arab Network of Innovation (AINAC 2013) which was held in Jordan in 6-7/12/2013.
Over 1000 scientific projects from 17 Arab universities competed in the contest, which included four themes: Engineering, Health, Pioneering, and Environment; and was attended by a large number of Arab and international innovators and scientists who are prominent in the field of innovation and pioneering in the Arab world.
The students - Hashim Shamasneh, Jaber Hassoun, Hassan Mer'ee, and Safa'a Salawdeh, supervised by Dr. Falah Hassan - participated in the contest with a pipe and cable locating device, which they called: "Pipe and Cable Locator Robot”.
