The ANU Life Support Training Center (ANULSTC) at An-Najah National University has successfully renewed its official accreditation from the American Heart Association (AHA) through 2029, reaffirming its commitment to delivering internationally recognized, high-quality training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency cardiovascular care, and life-saving interventions.

The accreditation renewal follows extensive efforts and continuous follow-up undertaken over the past period under the supervision and support of Dr. Eman Al-Shawish, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Director of the Center, in collaboration with the Center’s coordinators and training staff to ensure full compliance with all accreditation requirements and quality standards set by the American Heart Association.

The Center delivers its training programs in accordance with the latest AHA guidelines and evidence-based recommendations through a team of highly qualified and certified instructors. These programs play a vital role in strengthening the preparedness of healthcare professionals and enhancing their ability to respond effectively to emergency and critical situations.

Dr. Eman Al-Shawish emphasized that the Center remains committed to expanding its role in community service and engagement by providing CPR and life support training courses to various segments of society. She noted that these efforts contribute to promoting a culture of early emergency response, raising public awareness, and equipping community members with essential life-saving skills.

She further highlighted the Center’s commitment to broadening access to its training programs to include students across all medical and health-related disciplines, while pursuing a long-term vision of making life support training available to all university students. Such initiatives contribute significantly to enhancing community safety and strengthening health awareness.

As one of the leading accredited training centers in Palestine, the ANU Life Support Training Center continues to provide internationally recognized training programs that enhance practical competencies, develop professional skills, and prepare participants to respond effectively to critical and emergency situations in accordance with internationally recognized standards and best practices.
