An-Najah Wins 2nd Place in the Arab Innovation Network Competition 2015
A group of the chemical engineering students at An-Najah won the 2nd place in the Arab Innovation Network annual competition, a competition that brings together students, entrepreneurs, academics and industrialists from the sciences & healthcare, engineering, and environment from different parts of the Arab World.
Under the supervision of Dr. Shadi Sawalha, Lecturer at the Chemical Engineering Department, Students Rana Shanaa, Tasneem Sarhan, Sandy Alawneh and Amira Hussein presented their graduation project on production of powder grease using stone cutting waste and used cooking oil.
The finals were held in Amman within the AIN Annual Conference.
