An-Najah Students Win First and Second Place in the “Reconstructing Destroyed Palestinian Villages” Competition
Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology's Department of Architecture Engineering at An-Najah National University won first and second places in the “Reconstructing Destroyed Palestinian Villages” Competition which is organized annually by Palestine Land Society (PLS), UK, to redesign these destroyed villages for their reconstruction on the same site.
The competition includes the participation of Palestinian architectural students in the final year of study in a recognized institution or university to build a peaceful and just Palestine.
"Lubya Village Reconstruction-Tiberias" Project by students Moataz Hajj Muhammad, Ayman Al-Bitar, Bahaa Al-Qadi, Zahra Shreim, Saad Yaish under the supervision of Dr. Hasan Al-Qadi won the first place in the competition.
"Al-Walajah Village Reconstruction- Jerusalem" Project by student Nour Mujahid under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Kamhiyah and Dr. Hasan Al-Qadi won the second place in the competition.
The competition is judged by an international jury from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and the Arab world.
