The Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings is one of the most prestigious regional assessments issued by Times Higher Education. It evaluates universities across five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry and societal impact. These criteria are designed to provide a comprehensive picture of institutional performance, emphasizing teaching and research as primary drivers of success.

Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, expressed pride in this accomplishment, emphasizing that it is a direct reflection of the university’s continuous efforts to enhance its academic and research standards. He highlighted that this success is the result of collective dedication from the university’s faculty, staff, and students. The university has consistently worked to advance its academic programs, foster a robust research environment, and expand international partnerships, further solidifying its regional and global reputation.

Prof. Zaid attributed this achievement to the university’s high-quality research output, which includes publications in high-impact, indexed international journals. He also highlighted the university’s emphasis on innovation and technology transfer to serve societal and industrial needs. Additionally, supportive policies encouraging scholarly publication and fostering research projects have been instrumental in achieving this distinction. These efforts align closely with the university’s contributions to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This recognition reaffirms An-Najah National University’s status as a pioneering academic institution, going beyond traditional roles to drive development and innovation locally and globally. It reflects the university’s vision of maintaining excellence in global rankings, improving the quality of education and research, and expanding its international collaborations.
