An-Najah National University Hospital has reinforced its position as a leader in healthcare with a notable achievement: a 4-star global rating from Statista, in collaboration with Newsweek magazine. This recognition, part of the Global Hospital Rating rankings, positions NNUH among the first hospitals in the region to earn such a prestigious classification, underscoring its excellence in healthcare both locally and internationally.


The rating is based on rigorous international standards, including healthcare service quality, response times, patient safety, innovation in health information technology, patient satisfaction, and the hospital’s reputation as an employer of choice. This accomplishment highlights NNUH's unwavering commitment to providing healthcare services that meet the highest global benchmarks.

H.E. Professor Rami Hamdallah, Chairman of NNUH’s Board of Trustees , celebrated the achievement, stating: “This esteemed rating is the culmination of years of dedication and continuous advancement, reaffirming the hospital's commitment to delivering world-class medical services.”

Dr. Iyad Maqbooul, CEO of NNUH, expressed pride in the hospital’s global recognition: “This international acknowledgment is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team. It marks a pivotal step in solidifying our standing as a premier provider of advanced healthcare.”

Dr. Mohammad Jaber, a senior figure at the hospital, highlighted the significant role that advancements in medical and technological capabilities have played in driving the hospital’s outstanding performance, which contributed to this latest success.

Mr. Abdullah Dweikat, Director of the Quality Department at NNUH, commended the teams behind this achievement, noting that the rating stands as a testament to the hospital’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare quality and patient safety.

Notably, An-Najah National University Hospital previously earned accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), making it the first Palestinian academic medical center to receive this prestigious distinction, further cementing its status as a leading healthcare and academic institution in Palestine and the region.

This latest global recognition reflects NNUH’s ongoing commitment to healthcare excellence, technological innovation, and patient-centered care.
