An-Najah National University Bitsplease Team Wins First Place in the IEEEXtreme Competition in Palestine
Bitsplease Team of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of An-Najah National University Student Branch (IEEE), has recently won the first place in Palestine and 40th regionally (Africa, Europe, and the Middle East) in the IEEEXtreme Competition.
41 Palestinian teams participated in the competition, and 21 teams out of 41 participated from An-Najah National University. IEEE An-Najah student branch held more than 12 online training sessions and a 6 hours face to face session. Moreover, the IEEE An-Najah student branch held three mini competitions to help students improve their coding skills.
The competition was sponsored by Foothill Technology Solutions company in Palestine. It took place virtually on Friday, October 23,200.
IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members – advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch – compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
