Air Quality Monitoring

An-Najah National University actively monitors air quality as part of its commitment to climate action and environmental health. Through the ANNU EQA PS Station, operated in collaboration with IQAir, the university continuously measures fine particulate matter (PM₂.₅) and other key pollutants using smart sensor technology installed on campus. Real-time data collection enables researchers to track pollution trends, assess exposure risks, and evaluate the impact of climate change and urban emissions on local air quality. The results support both academic research and public awareness, helping the university and community make informed decisions toward a cleaner and healthier environment.
